Use the Right To Buy scheme to get on the property ladder

Right to Buy is a government scheme which allows most council tenants to buy their council home at a discount.

The property must be your only or main home. It must be self contained. You must be a secure tenant. You need to have had a public sector landlord for three years.

You can make a joint application with someone you share you tenancy with. Additionally, family members who you've lived with for the past 12 months are eligible.
